The 3 key elements to starting an online business are learning how to use niche research tools, keyword research tools and planning. Have you been going broke purchasing the newest greatest research tools? Have you defined the most profitable website concept for your online business? Have you created a site blueprint on which to build your business?
Building an online business is not an overnight sensation. It takes time, patience and research. If you possess these qualities and are serious; then the following free research tools will help you achieve your dreams and aspirations.
When you learn how to use Google’s niche research tools and keyword research tools you’ll have a jump on the competition within your niche and find your content ranking highly in the search engine result pages.
One of the most unforgettable moments in your online business will be finding your keyword phrase and website ranked on page one in Google. It was for me; and I still get excited when I find my content ranked highly in the search results.
Unless you already have an idea or business that you plan on promoting the best place to start is by checking out Google’s trends to see what people are searching for most today. This is not the most popular searches – its a record of whats hot today.
I’d start out by setting up a spread sheet and naming it something memorable like:
Niche Research Tools Results.
Make notes on topics that you are familiar with and are passionate about. All you’re doing right now is defining some niches that you find appealing. If you find some niches of interest in the trends add them to your list.
Once you’ve built a list of half dozen or a dozen potential niches log into Google and do a search for each keyword or keyword phrase. This is where I’m going to show you one of the coolest niche research tools.
For demonstration purposes lets pick the niche keyword computer repair. Log in to Google, type computer repair in the search box and click Google Search.
Now click the options tab in the upper left corner.
And here’s Google’s niche research tools cool wonder wheel. Click on wonder wheel now.
Notice how the main keyword/niche is the hub of the wheel and there are 8 spokes connected to the wheel. These are more great keywords that you may want to use in your website or blog. In this demonstration and research exercise Computer Repair is the main theme.
The spokes represent sub topics or future tiers/pages. If any of these keywords appeal to you for your site add them to a new column in your niche research tools spreadsheet. Sometimes you may find a keyword phrase from one of the spokes that interest you even more than your main theme. Possibly it would make a better niche. Add it to your first list and repeat the process.
The wonder wheel will dig even deeper into this potential niche by simply clicking one of the spokes for a new wheel. The wonder wheel does not narrow down the keyword popularity. It is only a tool for finding more related keywords to the main search term.
Next go back to your niche research tools spreadsheet and do a Google search for each keyword phrase wrapped in quotes. In the upper right hand side of the page will be a number representing the search volume for that keyword phrase as a direct match.
Start a new column in your spreadsheet and record the results for each keyword phrase. Now add each keyword phrase into Google’s Keyword Tool. Observe the search volume for each keyword and if you find more keywords that are related to your niche that interest you add them to your list. Be sure to check the search volume on these words too.
The final step would be to figure out who your real competition is. You can find that information by reading my article on keyword popularity research.
The goal in using niche research tools is to find keywords that are high in demand ( search volume) and low in supply.
You now should have a nice list of potential niche keywords, sub keywords ( tier 2 pages) and the information needed to weed and prune your list leaving you with a website blueprint.
All that’s left for you to do is start writing keyword focused content and who knows you may find your content listed number one in Google as early as next week.
Building an online business is a process. Keyword research and niche research are essential steps that you need to take. The time you spend now will pay huge dividends down the road.

Now, in Google also you have keywords. Besides the ad, people want to know what kind of keywords do I use. Perfect Wealth Formula has explained to people what kind of keywords they should be using and yet they use other keywords. One type of keywords that you cannot use is general keywords. Do not use keywords like home based business, home based business online, make money online, make money, home based business now, network marketing, MLM, those are all too generic. Not only generic, but they are so general that you have other people who think like you do and it is the first thing that comes to their mind, so they are trying the same thing that you are and it ends up that a lot of people are doing the same thing, therefore it bids up the word and you pay a lot more for your click.
You want to try and stay away from that, and you will not get the results that you are looking for. The best way to do pay per click advertising is to have very nice targeted campaigns, and we call them niches, and you get the best results. Now, who do you target, how do you target other people in this industry? Very simple. You can target other companies in our industry, in MLM or a top tier industry, or 1-ups or 2-ups or direct cash programs, gifting programs. Those are keywords, you can use those as keywords. You can put your ad under that keyword and guess what, when people look up for that information or look up that opportunity and decide what they want to do, something like that, they will see your ad and they like it and they will click on it. And the person that clicked on it is most likely a person that is already looking for a business or had a business before, so you are hitting your target market.
How about the different people in different programs in our industry? Well, how do I find these people? Just go in there and look up the programs and find the people. Find the top and middle earners in that program and you can put an ad in there in pay per click. Now, we have to warn you on one thing. It is not ethical to put your ad under people in your own program or opportunity. That is not ethical. Do people do it, yes, we see it all the time, but it is not ethical. Perfect Wealth Formula does not do it and we never have. Do onto others as you would have them do onto you. If you do that, I would not be surprised if you have people doing the same thing to you, so we do not do that.
On with more keywords. Let me back up and tell you a little bit more on how to search for those. Simply go into Google, look up a program, then you can see the people who are advertising. Those people are keywords. Whether you click on their ads and find out who it is, whether you see them in the search engine listings, anywhere where you can find them in the program there, those are keywords you can use and you can put your ad under there. As far as programs, as far as finding those, you can just do some searches in the search engines and find them. That is my main little trick to finding programs to market under, and this is one reason why you always have an endless supply of keywords, courtesy of other people. Here is our secret.
In your email, and we know you get emails everyday, we know you get lots of them, we do, we get hundreds everyday. There are always people that are trying to pitch you on something. If you have been in this industry for a little while you are going to get email from other people in this industry trying to pitch you on their opportunity or program or why their program is the next best program. If you have been in this industry for a while and you do not get those types of emails, just start going around the internet signing up for different programs, other peoples’ lists, and all of a sudden after a while your name and email will get spread around, plus those peoples’ list that you are on, all of a sudden you will get all types of emails from people in this industry. Also, if you are on safe lists you could get all types of email from there from all different types of people, that is probably the best bang for your buck and you do not have to pay anything, just subscribe to them.
But, we are on these lists and we get hundreds of emails everyday just like you do. I am in a program, Perfect Wealth Formula, you are in a program, whatever program you are with, great, if that is what you are promoting, fine. People will email you on their programs, so in my inbox, I open it up and open up some emails whenever I feel like it, because I get tons of emails in my inbox, and all of a sudden somebody is marketing to me that this program just came out like last month, or this week, or last week, or five or six months ago, or yesterday, whatever it might be, they are marketing this mlm program, this 1-up or 2-up program, straight cash program, gifting program, or product, or system in the industry that someone just came out with. Well, I really do not read into it too much, but I say thank you, thank you, thank you for giving me another keyword to market under for free.

Have you ever made one decision that completely altered your life? It can be that it altered it for either good or bad, it doesn’t matter, but just one decision that changed everything?
I believe that all change happens in an instant. I wanted to share with you one story about a decision that I made three years ago that altered everything for me.
About three years ago (June 2003) my wife and I financially hit rock bottom. I was working a summer job as a painter (struggling at nights trying to get my internet business to work). We were bringing in enough money to almost cover our bills.
I say almost because there was a night in June that my wife and I had to go and pawn all of our CD’s to pay for the groceries.
About that time I made a decision to purchase a marketing course that cost me $1,000. I’ll tell you which course it is in a second, but first I want to share the impact it had on our life.
We obviously didn’t have the $1,000 for the course, so I started doing some dead end jobs and we opened a credit line to cover the costs. After getting the CD’s I listened to them in my car and on my headphones while I was at the job.

There are literally thousands of niches in the jewelry marketplace that can provide a comfortable source of income if you choose to specialize in serving a particular need.
You will have a lot more business if you become known as the jeweler who specializes in a particular type of jewelry (for example, plus-size jewelry, men’s jewelry, Victorian styles, wedding jewelry, etc.) than if you try to make all jewelry for all people.
By creating jewelry for a specific market, you can usually command higher prices because you’re perceived as an expert in that niche. And a higher percentage of your customers will become buyers, since they come to you already looking for the specific jewelry you sell, compared to general jewelry browsers.
Catering to a targeted market will also earn you more word-of-mouth referral business from your customers – “The bridal jeweler who made my daughter’s tiara has some beautiful wedding jewelry sets too! Let me give you her phone number.”
You’ll also be able to pick up a good volume of new customers from non-competing businesses that serve the same market you do.
For example, if you specialize in larger sizes of women’s jewelry, you could cooperate with a plus-size women’s clothing boutique to promote each other’s products.
