Internet marketing requires skill and knowledge. Many new business people do not usually have these skills when they first start out. It is wise to learn as much as you can about this subject so that you know the best ways to promote your business.
How to learn more about Internet Marketing:
Newsletters: There is a lot of good free information that you can get from newsletters. There are informative articles and tips in all good Internet marketing newsletters. It is worth your while to join a few good ones and start learning for free.
E-books: there are many e-books on Internet marketing. You need to be very careful when purchasing these e-books on the Internet as many of them are just written by rookies who do not know that much. Seminars: If you want to learn from the experts and are prepared to spend a little money seminars can be quite helpful. They are also a fun way to learn as you meet many entrepreneurs here.
Forums: are very useful if you are a beginner. Here you can ask questions and get answers from experts or at least people who have a certain amount of experience. One of the best business forums is Anthony Blake’s business forum. These forums are free to join.

Many entrepreneurs are guilty of working extremely long hours and neglecting their health. They fail to get adequate rest and relaxation. They say they are too busy to eat. While this seems almost too easy, almost everyone out there isn’t charging enough for their products. If you were to double the prices of everything you are currently selling now, I would guess with almost 100 percent accuracy that you will lose a few sales, but you will almost double your profits.
A few weeks ago, one of our students had come to our offices, and was showing me his new business model on one of our whiteboards. He listed his plans, his products and his price points.
The first thing I did was add a ‘0’ to the end of all of his product price points. He nervously laughed and told me, “You can tell how advanced a marketer is by how much they dare to charge. My wife wanted me to charge half of my initial prices.” He was afraid that no one would buy at those price points, but that he trusted me and he’s test it out.
He launched his site last week, and a few days later I got an email from him announcing that he had his first $10,000 week!
The moral of this story. Raise your prices!
One of my mentors, Dan Kennedy, said that if you can’t be the low price leader in your market, it makes NO sense to be the next cheapest guy in town. If you can’t be the lowest, then you should try to be the highest. Become the “premium” option because there is always a group of people who want to buy at premium prices. And the nice thing is that you will make more money from less people, you’ll have less customer support AND have higher quality buyers to work with!
Just look at the airline industry. There’s a group of people for every flight who will pay almost twice as much for an airline ticket not so much because the seats are a little bigger, but because they want to fly “First Class.”
