Keyword Research – Do Keyword Research Right And You Will Get Free Traffic From Google Forever

Thursday, December 31st, 2009

If you get your keywords right, Google and Yahoo and MSN will send you all the traffic you want. But if you get your keywords wrong, your website will be like a ghost town.

You will only get lots of free search engine traffic when you give the search engines what they want. It isn’t difficult when you know how, it’s just a matter of knowing the steps to take and finding the right keyword to target.

Keyword Research is crucial if you want to get free search engine traffic

Keyword research involves finding the phrases that your potential customers type into Google when they are looking for information. Before you write anything, you need to discover the phrases you need to target to make sure your site appears on the first page of search results. Keyword research should be the first step before you write any content.

Create a master list of keywords

You could use the Google trends free keyword tool from Wordtracker, it is a good starting point for keyword research.

When you type your primary keyword into the search box it will give you the number of daily searches and show you how much competition there is for each keyword. When you use the keyword research tool, you are aiming to find keywords that have low competition, because they are easier to rank for.

Go to the tool and type in a broad keyword that describes your niche. The keyword research tool will return the top 100 keywords with that word in them. You will get an estimate of how many searches there are each day.

Click on the G button to see how much competition there is for that keyword. You will immediately see how much competition there is for that keyword in Google and the actual number of daily visitors from the number 1 spot in Google for that phrase.

Ideally you want there to be less than 30,000 competing pages and at least 100 visitors a day. But as long as the keyword phrases is getting some traffic and hasn’t got much competition it is a keyword worth targeting because it will be easy to rank on the first page of search results.

Most people make the mistake of targeting keywords that have lots of competition and wonder why they have hardly any visitors to their website.

When you are starting out, it is much easier to get on the first page of search results when you target multiple keywords that have a relatively small amount of traffic and little competition. The small streams of traffic become a big stream when combined.

Multiple listings on the first page of search results can add up to a lot of traffic, so dig out a few good keywords that don’t have a lot of competition and are easy to get ranked on the first page of search results. and watch your visitor numbers soar.

Wednesday, November 4th, 2009

If you are interested in blogging to voice your opinion and have your world view promoted, then this product is not for you.

On the other hand if you want to find out how to make money with a blog, then this is a very good starting point.

Rob Benwell, the creator of Blogging to the Bank has made a lot of money through creating multiple blogs, not from specialising in one area.
The way he operates is as follows-

1. Research the web using keyword tools, Google and Clickbank to find where the hungry crowd and money is and give them what they want.
The fact that you have no interest in the niche is irrelevant..if you want to make money with a blog.

2. Use Wordpress to set up your blogs and make sure to choose a domain name that is optimized to get traffic

3. Install the plug ins that he recommends which will optimize your blog for humans and search engines

4. Write content or outsource it for the particular niche

5. Promote your blog through SEO and Web 2.0 methods and drive traffic to your blog

6. Sell Clickbank products and use Adsense from Google to monetize

7. Rinse and repeat..do it again and again and ramp up the successful niches and abandon the losers.

Blogging to the Bank 3.0 ebook is quite short..and to the point.
But if your goal is to make money with a blog then you won’t be bothered by this because the step by step instructions work on a need to know basis.

As with all Clickbank products there is the usual 60 day money back guarantee so if you have any problems or are not satisfied then you will get your money back, guaranteed by Clickbank.
