Are you making multiple streams of income as an internet marketer or is all your income in one source? Are you relying only on Google AdSense to make all your money on your blog? Do you only belong to one Affiliate Program? If you answered yes to any of these you are doing it all wrong!
You say you are making good money only using ClickBank or Commission Junction yet I say you can make a lot more if you expand your markets. Multiple streams of income is what you should be striving for when you start your internet marketing business. I personally promote ClickBank products, use Linkshare, AdSense, Commission Junction and several other networks that I can reach into to find my niche to market. Remember you can not market really popular items with success because everyone else is doing that, in order to stand out you have to stand alone in a niche market but really need to understand that market.
For example do not go after the whole health industry , instead go after a symptom in health care, for example swollen glands issues which is a small subset, you get several things with this as you can find offers that relate to swollen gland problems and you can bet that you now have targeted traffic to your site.
But what if I can not find an offer related to that niche? Then you are not looking hard enough there are offers for every niche out there you just have to find that multiple streams in order to get your river flowing!.

First of all I love ClickBank. It is my preferred affiliate network. I actively use ClickBank to make money everyday and so do 1000’s of other marketers.
If you are active on Internet you will probably be reeling from the avalanche of specialized ClickBank specific marketing systems being launched.
Yes, it is true there are people earning $40 000 plus per month marketing CB products and we are about to discover the what, where and when of it.
On of the reasons I like to use ClickBank to make money is because they have such a great spread of products and it centralizes my earnings, I prefer to get one big check as opposed to a bunch of smaller one’s.
Did you know that the affiliates that use ClickBank to make money, IN FACT make more money than the merchants selling their products. Did you know that they regularly do over $100,000,000 a day in sales.
Because of their Stirling reputation in the market, buyer trust them and it helps you in making the sale. Their no nonsense guarantee policy assures prospects and improves the overall quality of the products on offer.
There are a couple of things that I prefer when researching and selecting a product to promote:
1) A gravity score of more than 100 (the gravity score indicates the number of affiliates actively promoting the product), think about it if they were not making money they won’t promote it.
2) A commission of more than $30 (especially if you are going to use PPC), here I also prefer to go for products with recurring payment e.g. a monthly membership, in the long run you make more with these.
3) Then I look for a product with a refund rate of less than 3%, it does not pay to promote inferior products (warning eSlumdog Millionaire is on, most of my sales including myself asked for a refund, don’t waste your time)
4) I also do a bit of FREE research on CBEngine.com, there you’ll find all sorts of interesting stats, you can do a product search and you will be able to determining if this product is still in an up cycle or if it’s flame is fading.
Believe me it is worth your while to do a bit of research, there are more than enough products on ClickBank for you to choose from. It is important that you don’t marry a product and that you will cull it if it is a dud.
CRITICAL! Always spend the bulk of your time on your winning campaigns, do not fall into the human trap to focus on the losers and thus pulling your business down, makes sense doesn’t it?
Applying the rules above you will be able to use ClickBank to make money, a lot of money. Then there are a number of systems out there that will propel your business to the next level. The most important rule when picking affiliates to promote on your site is to pick products that would be of interest to those who would likely visit your niche site. Some recommended company’s that you can choose a whole range of affiliate programs would be: Commission Junction cj.com, Amazon.com and ClickBank.com.
When you pick an affiliate program, it is important that you determine which companies you will profit best from, based on the frequency that the product is likely to sell. There are several types of affiliates and some will offer you more money from a sale than others will. If you sell a product four times a year from a little known company that gives you $100 per sale or sell a well known product 3 times a week at the rate of $10 per sale, then you will make much more money with the $10 per sale product. Often times large well known companies will offer a very small profit per sale because they are established and know that their product is likely to sell well.

When you join affiliate program marketing, there are certain elements of it that you should look for. This is especially true in Clickbank, although it’s a great repository of affiliate programs, there are many that aren’t worthwhile there.
First of all, is the product a hot item? Clickbank ranks the products it has based on popularity. If there are a lot of sales, especially by affiliates, you might have a winner. One thing to consider though is its age. If it’s a new item, it might not have a lot of sales, but it might just be the next big thing.
The vendor also should supply you with prewritten text. This is important, so that you avoid mistakenly misrepresenting the product. It also saves you the work of writing it yourself altogether.
You should also look for sales page leaks and plug them up whenever you can. There are ways a customer, a fellow affiliate or the vendor himself can steal your commissions. Sometimes, all it takes is a minor change in code or a pop up on their sales page for you to make nothing. Above all, protect your hoplink, it’s your money maker!
That’s not the only way you can lose on Clickbank. The terms and conditions of getting paid through CB is also a source of frustration for many affiliates. Clickbank pays out every two weeks. The only problem is that you have to have made at least $100 and 5 sales to different customers.
To make matters worse, if your account goes “dormant,” they will start charging you a dollar a pay period as a service charge. Your account is dormant when you have a positive balance, but don’t meet the criteria to get paid after 3 months. Then the fee raises to $5 per pay period after 180 days. Then it jumps to $15 per period after a year of not qualifying to get paid.
While Clickbank is a great place to find join affiliate program make sure you choose well.

In early August, Clickbank Pirate was launched with tremendous buzz as the latest and greatest system to make money online, but does Clickbank Pirate really work? I am never one to run out and grab a new product, or as we like to say – get distracted by all the shiny new things online, but I could not resist temptation on this one. The sales page is very effectively written in my opinion.

Now, I think we all know that a great sales page really does not mean a hill of beans when it comes to making money online. But the concept they are promoting is certainly a different approach than any other I have seen.
How Clickbank Pirate Works
Clickbank Pirate takes a unique approach to internet marketing using the hottest trend today – video squeeze pages. CB Pirate provides you with your own video squeeze pages that you drive traffic too. The squeeze pages then capture the email address, or lead, of the traffic and will automatically get them into an autoresponder series for you.
Essentially, they do all the selling for you, and you get credit for the sale through your Clickbank id. And, since the lead is captured via email, they will continue to “sell” to your lead for months to come, meaning one person can buy again and again from their follow up emails.
The video squeeze pages are very nicely done and the system in general is likely very effective. Clickbank Pirate also hosts all the pages for you, and gives you your own link to send people too. So your cost of using the program is only the membership cost, which is $37/mo as of this writing. Thats basically one sale per month using the video squeeze pages and allowing CB Pirate to send the autoresponder emails on your behalf.
Yes, that will save you a TON of time in writing content and everything else. It really is autopilot and a very simple system conceptually.
But, in my opinion, there is one HUGE problem here….can you figure it out?
The Problem with Clickbank Pirate is TRAFFIC Generation
All of the features are really very advanced and effective. But in order for them to work – you MUST send good amounts of traffic to your video squeeze pages!
There are two basic forms of traffic generation: Paid and Unpaid
Unpaid traffic is the premise of the the One Week Marketing plan that I am a fan of and use every day. But those who know and have used it realize that you do NOT get hoards of hungry traffic overnight. It takes effort and time to build up traffic streams.
If you are sending what traffic you can generate to your video squeeze page, it will take a very very long time to see significant results (i.e. several months). My opinion, you will need a budget of a couple of hundred dollars to really give the system a chance to work. $67 for initial cost, + $37/month recurring. 3 months expense will be about $200 out of pocket to you.
In about 3 to 4 months time, you would have enough traffic from your OWM campaigns going to the video squeeze pages that you will be able to tell if the system works for you or not.
Conversely, if you are familiar with AdWords and Google PPC traffic generation, then I think this is where the Clickbank Pirate is most successful. Sending PPC traffic to the video squeeze page will be the most effective and quickest way to see results. But a word of warning, PPC can be dangerous and expensive!
